Due to popular demand, we’re
bringing back the downloadable Juliana songs, all previously
unreleased, and all available only right here. Pay what you
want/what you can afford (may we suggest one dollar per song?)
via PayPal or checks/money orders to:
Ye Olde Records
P.O. Box 398110
Cambridge, MA, 02139
USA
Most of these tracks were here
before, but “Hallucinations” is new, and “Can’t Worry About
That” and “This Is What I Think Of You” have never been
available for download before. This “Just Like That” is the demo
version of the Some Girls song on the Crushing Love
album; Juliana plays all the instruments here and prefers this
version to the Crushing Love version.
“Can’t Kill Myself” (featuring Mikey
Welsh and Todd Philips on spoken background vocals, and Rich
Gilbert playing the fabulous finger-picked guitar at the end)
was originally considered for inclusion on the God’s Foot
album of 1996, which was never released. Check out Dan LeRoy’s
new book The Greatest Music Never Sold (Backbeat Books)
to hear the story of God’s Foot.
p.s. “Good Thing Going” is performed
by Some Girls (Juliana, Freda Love and Heidi Gluck)
p.p.s Juliana has been working on a
new album in New York, with Andy Chase of the band Ivy
producing.
